Dear friends,
As we approach a number of significant religious holidays this week, I want to reiterate the importance of Social Distancing and limiting gatherings of more than 10 people. Gatherings also require a six foot or more physical distance separation between people.
While we’re encouraging the practice of physical distancing, we are in no way encouraging our members to distance themselves from their faith or beliefs, especially during this time. However, we encourage seeking ways to build faith and community virtually or electronically, rather than in person, to help stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus in our community.
Easter is a special and important time for each of us, especially this year, as some of us have lost friends and family members to Covid-19. This week shall provide time for us to reflect on what is important – our family and our faith. I realize that many are suffering; however, we must remain united in the face of this tragedy. We shall triumph together through our faith and convictions of working together and each of doing our part.
I close by wishing each of you and your families an enjoyable Easter.
